[THE END]

Story about "Gong Biak"/"光饼"

Once upon a time,a hero called 戚继光led his people to fight against their enemy..The hero knew the war gonna be long and tiring. And it would be inconvenient to build up kitchen stove to cook during the war.So he thought of 1 idea and he baked biscuits.(Cool right?A hero can bake…=P)
The procedure of making the biscuits was easy. After the biscuits had been baked,he asked the soldiers to tie the biscuits with them by using jute rope .The biscuits helped to fulfill their hunger and ease them in fighting against the enemy.
And now the biscuits have passed down to the generations and people called these biscuits as “Guang Bing” “光饼”
