Thursday-
Woke up with my tears down my cheek, with my pillow wet.
I dreamt.

In my dream, i was happily chatting with a friend of mine in a tall, big business building.
Suddenly we heard screaming, crying sounds around the office.
"It's coming.What should we do??"
"God,please save us!"
"Doomsday has come!!!"

Outside the office windows, we saw fire everywhere..The earth was quaking...The lands and skyscrapers were collapsing one by one...We saw people down there were running for their lives but most of them just vanished in front of our eyes.

I panicked and cried. I got nothing to do but prayed.
Perhaps God heard us, everything stopped just in front of our building.
No fire, no earthquake...We're safe!!

The dream was like 3 minutes short, everything happened very fast yet so real...
In that morning, i feel thankful for everything..........

My heart feel 'sour' today....

I am tired,but i couldn't sleep...
I wanna sleep,but i couldn't sleep....

Suffering for insomnia for past 2 weeks,and i thought these few days had showed improvement,but it seems it just gave me few days rest so that can continue torturing me.....

Tempted to take muscle relaxant(coz i have no sedative pills) just to make myself to close my eyes,
but my rationality keep telling me that is considered as drug abuse,i shouldn't do it....

But,Issshhhhh.....It is damn suffering......

A very fine Sunday morning,7 hungry ghosts were craving for “Fuchao” food…
And then their journey had begun. =)

Well,they can fly but they chose to drive,coz they're low profile...
So here you go,

just got back to their cars coz the sun was too hot..
Don't forget,ghosts scare of sun....=P

They realized that the place is in P.Pangkor after hui ling rechecked the GPS.

No wonder the GPS kept leading them to the middle of the sea….=.=

After going here and there,2 hours had passed.They went back to the biscuits shop..
First time seeing the process of making “gong biak”..
They stuck the biscuits on that charcoal oven.

After paying for the "gong biak",the 7 full ghosts happily drove back to Butterworth.
Though it was s short trip,but they enjoyed the food and the relaxing trip...

Story about "Gong Biak"/"光饼"

Once upon a time,a hero called 戚继光led his people to fight against their enemy..The hero knew the war gonna be long and tiring.And it would be inconvenient to build up kitchen stove to cook during the war.So he thought of 1 idea and he baked biscuits.(Cool right?A hero can bake…=P)
The procedure of making the biscuits was easy.After the biscuits had been baked,he asked the soldiers to tie the biscuits with them by using jute rope .The biscuits helped to fulfill their hunger and ease them in fighting against the enemy.
And now the biscuits have passed down to the generations and people called these biscuits as “Guang Bing” “光饼”

The sun was shining brightly these few weeks,
but my mood was like a rainy day..........

Today,somebody asked my why i look so gloomy nowadays,I wished i could answer him.
I tried to find the reason why i felt so blue,but i couldn't..
Suddenly feel very tired,very exhausted,
Physically and mentally as well...

Things that i do these few weeks weren't smooth,
Every time i start to feel relax and happy surely there is something that bothering me,
Every time i feel like i am gonna accomplish some works,and there is something that blocking my way..
I had tried to think positively,tried to convince myself that just take it as a challenge from God,
maybe He just want me to learn to be a better man,
but sorry God,maybe i ain't strong as u think coz all these had really made me going crazy.

Seeing people around me always have a smile on their face,
I tried to give them back a smile,but sorry guys,it seems my smiles weren't really genuine...
I didn't mean to show black face,i just don't feel like socialize....I'm sorry.

I EXTRACTED a TOOTH!!!!!!!!!!

Yes,i PULLED OUT a 48 (right third molar) which has severe dental caries!!!!

Without any mental preparation,
Suddenly,Dr.James,my oral surgery lecturer asked me to extract a tooth.....

And i don't know why i'm always so "lucky" to have a special patient as my 1st patient..

Well,what so special about my patient??

She is suspected to have oral submucous fibrosis (OSMF)

(OSMF is a premalignant condition..means usually patient has this condition will have increased risk of getting cancer.It usually caused by betel/areca nut chewing..means "槟榔")

But my patient is so unlucky,because she has no habit of areca nut chewing or smoking or any bad habits,and yet she has suffering for this disease.=(

This was the 1st time i saw a OSMF patient and i had the chance to feel the fibrous band that present in her oral cavity...erm,,,the feeling of touching her buccal mucosa and upper lip is just like stretching a rubber band...and she has a special shape of uvula,a hockey stick shaped uvula....

Well,the characteristic of this condition will be having restricted mouth opening.
Since my patient has the difficulty in opening her mouth and this was my 1st time,Dr.James helped me injecting the LA to the patient.

And he placed the forceps on the tooth and instructed me to hold the forceps and taught me the ways to hold it properly.

"Okay,push the forceps to lingually first"
"Well,now pull it to buccal side...."
"Try to rotate the tooth with the forceps.."
"Yes,good...keep going...keep going....go buccal again...go buccal again...."
"Yes,going to end....keep giving buccal!!"

AND,FINALLY,I'D PULLED THE TOOTH OUT!!
Phew~~~~~~

Pressing the socket by using the gauze,trying to stop the bleeding....
Then checking for any fracture of the extracted tooth,to avoid any fragments left in the socket...
Double confirmed,a complete tooth had extracted!!

Since the patient is suspected for OSMF,Dr.James asked me to be his assistant to help him take a biopsy from the patient's buccal mucosa.

Helping him to retract the mouth and controlling the light...
Seeing him using a surgical blade and did a smooth cut on the right cheek of the patient..
A small piece biopsy had done and it was kept in a formalin-filled bottle to be sent to the lab for investigation.This investigation is done to confirm the diagnosis of oral submucous fibrosis.

Well,even though i didn't do the complete extraction including injecting the local anesthetic this time,but the feeling of extracting the 1st tooth is so so so....erm..GreAt??
well,i know it did sound "scary",but anyway it was a small satisfaction to me,ok??!....=P

I wish i will have a chance to do a full procedure by myself next time.....
hehe....see who will be the "lucky guinea pig" then....oops,i mean my lucky patient...=P

p/s:Dr.James is really a good surgeon + lecturer....He built up my interest in surgery.And don't know why i don't wanna disappoint him,so i promise myself I will perform well in front of him in my next posting..... *crossed fingers* =)

Probably my heart is "infected" again..........

Knowing the "causative agent",
but too bad,
this "toxin" is too strong to be destroyed,and besides, the" host" itself has a low immunity.... =(

Thought my heart will be immunized since it was infected so many times,
but seems like the "antibiotic" is not functioning well or the causative agent has developed the "resistance" to the antibiotic.....hmmmm

How nice if there is a "vaccination" for the heart......

Okay,I know this is embarrassing,but i think i should jot down this "special" incident to make my 2009 looks more "interesting" and "lively".........

Today,i was supposed to follow Peen and Jo Ann back to Butterworth from GH Penang,but i didn't....I was dragged by Adrian and Yin Ci to Gurney Mall to accompany them buy movie tickets for 31st night....

After buying the Avatar 3D tickets,we went to Gurney Drive to eat something "light"....

Passing stall by stall......tables by tables......
We finally chose to eat pasembur(some spicy salad indian dish,just like rojak)....

"I want sausage..."
"I want taufu..."
"I want drumstick...."
"Wah,this looks yummy...ok,take this sotong as well lah...."

"Boss,how much is it??"
"RM42..."

You can't imagine how our face turned after hearing the bill...........
Coz there was only RM36 left in our hands!!!!!!!!!

We tried to 'korek' all our pockets,but can't even find a cent....(ok lah,i exaggerated,we did have 60 cents,if not mistaken...=P)

We were damn panic and i could felt my face was burning.....( It was much more embarrased than farting in my lecturer's room....=.=)

The lady behind us stood forward and adviced us next time should ask for the price before ordering...and she started to take out her purse..........

Skipping whole day today,
well,i know it is so not me........

抬头看着漆蓝色的夜空，
发现月亮不像人人说的八月十五月亮那么亮，
今夜的月亮被云给盖了一层纱。。。

突然间很想回家。。。
中秋节真得会让人想家哦。。

虽然和朋友一起倒数，一起提灯笼，一起吃月饼，
但我想这月圆人团圆的日子，应该和家人一起过比较有意思吧！

My Yoga Trial Class

I had my first yoga trial class....
This class is about gentle flow.....
Well,i don't really know what gentle flow means...But i guess it is teaching u to balance your energy/power in your body...(sound like some martial art or qi gong)

At first,i don't really think it will spend alots of my stamina...
But,i was wrong....After 30 mins,i started to sweat like hell....I can feel the sweat on my face kept dropping onto my yoga mat.... :S

I couldn't really describe the poses that the yoga teacher taught....But it's just look the same in the yoga book or video...When u see it,u might think it is not that difficult,however when you try it yourself,u will start to regret what u have just said...

During the lesson,i found out that my muscles of my hands are weak...really weak,especially my right hand...I couldn't hold my body for long with my hands...I could feel my right hand was shaking....T_T

And i guess yoga might help me to correct my hunchback bad habit....Coz during the whole class,u weren't allowed to bend your shoulder and u should sit straight all the time...
Besides,it can help me to lose weight,i guess...Since it made me sweat alots..hohoho....

Well,i have decided to register for this yoga class on this coming October after experiencing this
trial class....=)

It have been 10 days never updated my blog....
Feel so sorry 'coz i had promised myself to 'reactive' my new blog...

Well,I went back during the hari raya holidays..
Basically nothing special happening,but the most happy and excited thing is to MEET MY BOYFRIEND!! ^-^

Both of us never meet each other for 6 months..(excluding seeing each other in webcame with the super lousy internet in India),honestly,abit awkward when saw him at the 1st sight at the airport..Don't know how to describe the feeling...But luckily the feeling gone after few miliseconds..=P

During these holidays,he almost met most of my relatives..haha...looked at his shy and paiseh face,so cute...Not i purposely brought him to see them,I just too long never meet them and my parents felt i should pay a visit to them.....

Back to Penang,time for both of us also not much....'coz i gt class on thurs and friday..And during the weekends, we went out for movies and dinner with friends....

And now,he went back KT already....*sob sob*
Started to miss him.....
Dear,please come back soon......

ok,I broke my cap splint..........=(

Before curing,i'd had the bad feeling about my cap splint...
I even went to the temple on Sunday morning to pray so that my cap splint can come out perfectly...(ok lah..i lied..not purposely,but shun bian loh...=P)

Don't know should feel happy to my accurate sixth sense or sad that it really happened...
Now the god wanted to punish me,maybe because i wasn't sincere enough....=(

It had been so long since the last time i sweated...
Muscles and bone of mine almost karat already.....
The handle of racquet felt so unfamiliar....

Playing for 9 games and took us around 90 mins..
Realizing my performance had dropped....
My reaction..my stamina...my steps...my skills...my estimation....
All gone........=(

Now,the muscles like not belonged to my body...aching like hell.....
haih....liyin,u old already lah...

Talked to a primary school friend recently,
and during the conversation,she made me realized my mistake.....

"I feel my life is dull and boring...I wanna join some activities to make my life more interesting and lively.Any suggestion?"

"Well,how about yoga or dancing??"

"I love yoga...Erm,but I'm afraid that i have no time for it...after class already 5 something...will be very tired oh...and final is coming soon...besides..."

"Liyin,u always giving excuse in procrastinating your works....If u continue being like this,when are u going to change your life??What you do is just sit there and imagine about it,but you never take any action....You always say u wanna do this,do that..But where is your first step??Stop dreaming,it's time to move on!!"

I'm speechless.....'coz what she said was totally correct..
I'm like a little kid curi makan chocolate and keep denying it but she never noticed the remaining chocolate is still at the angle of her mouth....=.=
Couldn't even defense....

And well,I don't know why after listening to her advice,i have made my mind to join Yoga...
(Leo people really cannot be challenged...=P)

Of course,joining yoga is not 100% because of proving her i wont procrastinate anymore,in fact i''m really have interest in it for so long and so far getting many positive feedback about yoga...and now i have the opportunity to try it,so WHY NOT??? =)

Well,actually nothing special to be posted....
But just feel like it's nice to jot down this auspicious day 09/09/09 in the blog,and i purposely wait until 9pm to publish the post...=P

What a fortunate date...No wonder many couples decided to tie the knot on this day.....=)

As another 09.09.09 has come,i guess we would be sitting and chatting with God or maybe being reincarnated as a shark which its fins are going to be served in a wedding banquet =P

In a conclusion,we have no another 09.09.09,so just enjoy this day fully!!=)

And my OMR assignment has to accompany me for the remaining hours.....
